Upcoming Pricing Updates – November 2025

We’re introducing two updates this month to make pricing more transparent and flexible for store owners:

  • Product-Level Customization Fees (launching November 19, 2025)

  • Item Cost Calculations (launching soon)

These features will go live ahead of a larger pricing update planned for January 2026. The November changes are designed to help you prepare for those updates in advance.

1. Product-Level Customization Fees

Starting November 19, 2025, you’ll be able to set customization fees at the product level directly within your store.

This update gives you more control over how customizations affect your product pricing — especially if you use fixed sales price products.

Why this change matters

In January 2026, customization fees from your account-level price sheet will no longer apply to fixed sales price products.

By adding product-level customization fees now, you can make sure your pricing stays accurate and your margins remain consistent once that change takes effect.

How product-level customization fees work

  • Product-level customization fees do not affect what you’re charged by Fulfill Engine.

  • They only determine how your store’s sales price changes when customers add customizations.

  • You can toggle and set these fees while editing the Sales Price Markup for any product.

  • Customization fees from the price sheet will not be added in addition to product-level customization fees.

Example:

Price-sheet customization fee = $8 per customization
DTF = $6.50 per location

Fixed sales price = $20
Product-level single (flat) customization fee = $5

Store sales price:
$20 base fixed sales price + $8 flat customization fee = $28 total

Account decoration costs:
$6.50 (front DTF) + $8 (name) + $8 (number) = $22.50 total

Customization fees at the product level can be set on any pricing model and can be applied per location or as a flat fee (as shown above).

2. Item Cost Calculations

We’ve also improved how item costs are calculated to help you better predict your profit margins.

The new calculation automatically includes all applicable account fees for that item and adjusts dynamically based on your product’s sales price. This includes any handling fees reflected on the pricing sheet in addition to the material and decoration costs.

What this means for you

  • Your item cost now updates automatically as you set or change your store sales price.

  • If no price is entered yet, the system estimates the breakeven point, where if sales price = item cost then profit = $0.

  • This makes it easier to set store prices confidently, knowing what your profit will look like.

What’s Coming in January 2026

In January, we’ll roll out the remaining pricing updates, including:

  • The removal of account-level customization fees from all fixed sales price products

  • Additional refinements to customization pricing models for stores that use variable pricing

We’ll share more detailed guidance closer to that release.

What You Should Do Now

  1. Review your fixed sales price products — if they include customizations, consider adding product-level customization fees before January.
  2. Use the new item cost display to confirm your margins and adjust your pricing if needed.
  3. Stay tuned for January’s release notes for the full rollout of remaining pricing changes.
